the bus is only 4,500 from Rionegro to Medellin and about 45 minutes. Yes well I recomend 61 prado in Medellin in Prado Centro unless you want the party hostal scene then up at Kiwi in pablado. But at 61 prado I think it is like 30K a night. Private…

The hotel in rionegro is in rionegro.
just a note if you fly with Aires to Medellin they fly you to Rionegro but offer a free bus service to Medellin. They are cheap too.
The have some with private baths and some without I beleive but best to ask for availability with private bath.

OK OK you maniacs before you ask me what hotel in Rionegro here it is, this is much nicer than the hotel in Chapinero of course. I think it is 60k a night but on a monthly rate it is very cheap at 500,000k a month.

Bogota must be a ghost town during Christmas though new years.
This is a very well run and clean place and I recommend it to anyone wantitng to stay on the cheap in Bogota but wants to be further north than El Centro. I tis not a party palace hostal it is a hotel.
