Day trip from Bogota for some nature stuff
There is a Bio park near Chia called "La reserva" Take the colectivo from portal norte or 80 marked Cota-Chia. At the cross roads where you can see Colegio Nuevo Reino de Granada get off. Pick up another colectivo that will take you to the park. For 3k pesos in Colectivo and the park is free! You can actually get out of Bogota and see nature shit for 3k pesos. Only in Colombia. This is a bird preserve of some sort so take your Binoculars. If your going in car same route just don't take the colectivo. ;)

Did I mention the park is FREE? I know hard to beleive... It is one of the very few free Natural Ppreserve parks I know of in Colombia. Yea I know Parke 93 is free.... jiji
