DG or anyone know a good hotel, low priced in Bogota. Preferably some what in the north .
No gringo prices, lets be honest a Colombia should be able to get a decent hotel on Bogota for 80-90,000 pesos a night

I would think the upper middle class with visas, good educations, etc.... , are not quite as bad, as the barrio type you descibe.
Not lately but that is where I ahve my US office. Never need to go there.... Nothing more than a frieght forwarding operation, US address. I probably will go in the next couple months. I ahve 4 tickets to travel in my hands for sometime.
